Getting started with SignalDesk Blog

A short path from signup to your first citation-ready dispatch. Print this page if you want an offline checklist.

Your first dispatch

  1. Create your desk

Sign up free with your name or brand. We create a login username you can see anytime in Settings.

    Sign up free
  2. Open the studio and start a post

From Studio → New post, write an answer-first draft. Lead with the claim AI engines should quote.

    Open studio
  3. Meet cite-readiness

Fill the Answer Block and search snippet (meta) with at least 40 characters each. Add a cover image and topics before you publish live.

    What is GEO?
  4. Publish your dispatch

Hit Publish when ready — or save a draft and iterate. Your public URL is what ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews can cite.

    How to publish

Cite-ready checklist

  • Answer Block: self-contained extract AI can quote (40+ chars)
  • Search snippet (meta): how the post appears in results (40+ chars)
  • Cover image URL and topics set before live publish
  • Read What is GEO? if you are new to answer-first writing
