Signal Desk is a citation studio and GEO newsroom. You write citation-ready posts with SEO and GEO fields built in, then publish so ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews have something attributable to quote.
Fill the Answer Block and meta description (search snippet) with at least 40 characters each, add a cover image URL and topics, then publish. Those fields unlock live publish and give AI search a clear, quotable summary of your dispatch.
Once published, your post is a durable public URL with clear Filed-by attribution. Engines that retrieve and cite sources can use that page — and your Answer Block — when answering related questions.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is structuring content so AI systems can retrieve a clear answer and cite your page. Unlike classic SEO that targets link lists, GEO targets being quoted. See /geo for a fuller explainer.
An Answer Block is a short, self-contained extract (usually 1–3 sentences) that states the claim without needing the rest of the article. On Signal Desk it must be at least 40 characters before you can publish live.
You can open a free writing desk and publish without a credit card. Optional Growth Stack add-ons (for example a publisher newsletter embed) may be enabled separately — ask in Settings or contact the desk. We do not invent paid plan prices in this assistant.
Yes. Generate a Bearer API key in Studio → Settings, then connect Cadence or CitePilot under Integrations → Signal Desk. Live posts still need cite-readiness fields. Details are on /publish.
The Signal Desk briefing newsletter is an email list for occasional GEO and citation updates — join via the subscribe form on the site. A publisher account is a writing desk: you draft, meet cite-readiness, and publish public posts. They are separate; you can use either or both.
